The project “Research and Application of High-Performance New Diamond Tools in the Construction Industry†undertaken by the National Special Mineral Materials Engineering Technology Research Center of Guangxi Guilin Institute of Mineral Geology was approved on March 4 by an expert meeting organized by the Science and Technology Department of the Autonomous Region.
Experts believe that the project has adopted the original tooling design in the country, and applied advanced technology and technology to develop a special structure of ultra-thin diamond drill bit, which greatly improved the drilling efficiency. The first high-performance diamond was successfully developed in China. The wire saw has reached the international advanced level. The basic research of diamond tool application has been carried out. The drilling, cutting and grinding simulation test system has been established. The product standard and inspection method have been developed, which has improved the scientificity of product performance testing and evaluation. The establishment of national (industry) standards for new products laid the foundation. The project is a technological innovation with independent intellectual property rights, and the overall level is domestically leading and internationally advanced. Experts suggest that the project results should be further promoted and applied, and the scale of industrialization will be expanded.
